Foliage, Harvest and Fair events for 1-2 Oct
Well it’s that time when everything starts happening, from the events that are currently running are the Big E out in Springfield runs through this weekend and King Richards Fair running through 23 Oct, in Carver MA.
Starting this week/weekend, tons of family fun!
The Deerfield fair starts today and runs through Sunday.
The Topsfield fair starts on Friday and traffic will be tight for the next week. I would come in from a different route or just get there early. Watch coming north on I-95 because on Saturday the traffic will back up onto the highway from the lights.
The Fryeburg Fair in Maine starts on Sunday so traffic coming in Route 16 should avoid coming 16 from the south if possible. In the early part of the days it should be fine but afternoons through the evening will be impacted.
The NEK has festival days running until Saturday when they end in the town of Groton VT. Today (Thursday) is September 29 – Peacham, Friday is September 30 – Barnet, and Saturday is Groton

Did I miss any drop me a note for any events I didn’t find out about. (probably about a thousand…)
but people call me Jeff Foliage.
I have several pages that I write blogs for such as: http://www.4cornersnewengland.com/
My most popular blog is for Leaf peepers: Jeff Foliage.com.
I live in Salem, Massachusetts and work as a blogger and Travel Photographer. I'm also the founder of the New England Photography Guild.
Feel free to visit me on my blogs and see what life in New England is like.
I started with Yankee Magazine as their first blogger on everything fall foliage. Now I blog on my own blog on my favorite subject, telling leaf peepers where the fall foliage is showing up in New England and helping them (to some extent) plan their fall foliage vacations.
