Are you going to head out this weekend for fall foliage?
Well I have a couple point outs for you to try. First up is Vermont, and I want you to try along route 9 over to Bennington and then up route 7 into the Champlain Valley. Susan Cole Kelley who is an outstanding photographer says that: The Champlain Valley of Vermont looks great! More golden spots than sticks!
I got a little verification on Jeff D’s foliage report yesterday and this morning Bob Dennis put a picture up on the Yankee Foliage page of Lexington Common which was showing uncommon foliage color.
Photos of really good foliage are popping up on Facebook sites so I can tell you that Massachusetts is still showing some nice shots of fall color.
Also don’t forget to check Wednesdays links to all the other great things going this weekend..
The Keene Pumpkin festival is the first thing that comes to mind.. But there are so many…
Either way there is a bunch of things to do and some great weather to do them in.
I hope you have a great weekend and I hope you’ll stop back here and let us know what worked for you!
but people call me Jeff Foliage.
I have several pages that I write blogs for such as: http://www.4cornersnewengland.com/
My most popular blog is for Leaf peepers: Jeff Foliage.com.
I live in Salem, Massachusetts and work as a blogger and Travel Photographer. I'm also the founder of the New England Photography Guild.
Feel free to visit me on my blogs and see what life in New England is like.
I started with Yankee Magazine as their first blogger on everything fall foliage. Now I blog on my own blog on my favorite subject, telling leaf peepers where the fall foliage is showing up in New England and helping them (to some extent) plan their fall foliage vacations.
