New England Fall Foliage » Foliage Articles » New England’s fall foliage

There are many resources to help you enjoy your fall foliage trip.

First off, you want to know how and where I found this shot of Mount Washington? Right? To find more places like this then click the link at the top of the page entitled Locations by state which is a list of some of my favorite fall foliage spots. Check below for this view of Mount Washington.

(hint: Route 16 above pinkham notch and 2.8 miles beyond the Pinkham Notch visitor center is the Mount Washington auto road (you did know you can drive to the top.) Well just a few meters past that road is a staff parking lot and that is where I drove into, to take this shot)

Next, You want to know when is the best time to travel to New England. This varies by year but I explain in my posts when the best times are based on the dates you post in the comments and on my Facebook page.

Here in my articles and on my New England fall foliage Facebook page, I offer my estimates based on my past experience, along with current observations. During the Sept and Oct time period I have photographers and friends who send me reports which I post as they come in to help you make daily decisions.

Next you may want to find New England fall foliage routes and if you click Locations by state, it will take you to a few of the routes that I have enjoyed. Also there are many routes outlined in my blog articles so it might behoove you to read a few of the articles.

Lastly? But you might be asking, where do you find Peak New England fall foliage?  On my site, I have articles on finding peak fall foliage. I don’t have all the answers but I’ve been searching for fall color in New England for more than 10 years, so I like to think I’ve got a clue.. 🙂

I created Jeff-Foliage.com to be a one stop resources for everything fall foliage. Another bonus is I even answer emails! So get your questions in early! Please be patient and I’m more likely to answer a comment on the blog faster since that helps everyone instead of one person at a time. But if you do email me then rest assured I will get to it as soon as possible.

I have several pages that I write blogs for such as: http://www.4cornersnewengland.com/
My most popular blog is for Leaf peepers: Jeff Foliage.com.
I live in Salem, Massachusetts and work as a blogger and Travel Photographer. I'm also the founder of the New England Photography Guild.
Feel free to visit me on my blogs and see what life in New England is like.

I started with Yankee Magazine as their first blogger on everything fall foliage. Now I blog on my own blog on my favorite subject, telling leaf peepers where the fall foliage is showing up in New England and helping them (to some extent) plan their fall foliage vacations.
