Winning one of my free matted prints will be easier this year. First I’m going to choose from among the comments made on my blog during the previous month and just so I don’t leave out all the subscribers to my blog I will also choose one of them randomly.

So if you know you subscribed but you haven’t been receiving notifications of blog postings then check your spam folder because you may have already won and you missed out on it!

In December I didn’t get a response so I choose from the 16 individuals who commented on the December blog posts. (I sent out 6 emails to random subscribers without a response) 🙁

So Joyce Johnston of Largo, FL took home this shot from Peabody MA of a small scenic byway near my home.

There will be some real nice prizes given away this year, at least I think so. So keep the comments coming (the odds are so good of winning by comments that you should go and leave a comment right now!)  and check your email at the beginning of each month to see if you won! (or your spam folder). 🙂

Jeff Foliage

My name is Jeff Folger,
but people call me Jeff Foliage.
I have several pages that I write blogs for such as:
My most popular blog is for Leaf peepers: Jeff
I live in Salem, Massachusetts and work as a blogger and Travel Photographer. I'm also the founder of the New England Photography Guild.
Feel free to visit me on my blogs and see what life in New England is like.

I started with Yankee Magazine as their first blogger on everything fall foliage. Now I blog on my own blog on my favorite subject, telling leaf peepers where the fall foliage is showing up in New England and helping them (to some extent) plan their fall foliage vacations.

December Jeff foliage print winner — 6 Comments

  1. I appreciated your guidance this past fall when we were planning our trip to Vermont & New Hampshire to see the fall foilage. I absolutely LOVE your photos and wish some of mine had turned out half as good! I would be thrilled to win one of your amazing prints!

  2. I’d love to win one of your prints of the fall leaves. It looks like ill need to return to your area since my leaves I brought home didn’t hold color in the glycerin I soaked them in.

    • Well Adrienne, we’ll see what happens at the end of the month as far as winning… 🙂
I’d love to see a picture of the leaves in question. As I understand it the glycerin really helps keeping the leaves supple but I’m curious as to how much color they have. I haven’t gone that route. I drive around all fall with a book in the back seat. Whenever I pick up a nice example of New England fall foliage, I place it in the book. I have a couple squeeze clamps to hold it closed and to actually press the leaves.
The leaves are never as bright as when I picked them off the ground but they aren’t brown either.
If you win something… I will send a pressed leaf also so you can compare.

    • I haven’t tried that (the glycerin) but if you win, I will try to remember to send you a couple more dried leaves… IF I can find the book I have them in…
