A Vermont farm amid the fall foliage in New England on route 14

Summer is wearing away like an old shoe, slowly and yet you can tell its happening.  The local farms are full to the brim with fruit and the first of many ears of sweet corn. We’re also heading into the first of the fall or harvest festivals.

Starting in September you can find in local Chamber of Commerce sites across New England listing of Sept and Oct events. On the NEK (North East Kingdom) Chamber page I found a NEK festival on the 21st of Sept and a partial listing of the NEK Autumn Festival events are:

My name is Jeff Folger,
but people call me Jeff Foliage.
I have several pages that I write blogs for such as: http://www.4cornersnewengland.com/
My most popular blog is for Leaf peepers: Jeff Foliage.com.
I live in Salem, Massachusetts and work as a blogger and Travel Photographer. I'm also the founder of the New England Photography Guild.
Feel free to visit me on my blogs and see what life in New England is like.

I started with Yankee Magazine as their first blogger on everything fall foliage. Now I blog on my own blog on my favorite subject, telling leaf peepers where the fall foliage is showing up in New England and helping them (to some extent) plan their fall foliage vacations.
