Final Foliage Report for 2017 — 10 Comments

  1. Unfortunately pretty spot on this year Jeff. For some reason I just couldn’t buy what I was hearing about such a fantastic foliage season for 2017. I’m still looking and hitting the southern coast this weekend in the hopes for that last bit of color hanging on 🙂

  2. Unfortunately, I think you are right for the long term! Since the increase is not linear, some years will probably be better and some worse in the short to medium term, but future generations may only have our pictures of overall captivating foliage to look back on.

    • Well Kenny, I don’t know about that. I’ve been waaay off in certain years when Mother Nature wants to take me down a peg or two. I’ll just try to be somewhat accurate and hope for the best.

  3. Hi Jeff, well, next year is another year. While in Rhode Island last week I gave up on the foliage and realized the marshes had their lovely golden autumn colors, so I shot a couple of those. Three of those photos are on my latest blog post. As usual, thanks for your hard work this season!
